Transform Your Look with Permanent Eyeliner (Lash Line)

Enhance your eyes and save time on your daily makeup routine with a permanent eyeliner (lash line) procedure with Blade to Beauty LLC in Delmar, MD. Permanent eyeliner is a cosmetic tattooing technique that involves applying pigment to the upper and/or lower eyelids to create the look of eyeliner that doesn't smudge or smear. It is a semi-permanent solution that can last for several years with proper maintenance and touch-ups. The procedure involves using a small needle to deposit pigment into the skin, and it can be customized to create a variety of eyeliner styles and thicknesses.

Permanent Eyeliner - $375

Available in Two Styles

  • Lash enhancement liner: A fine tattooed line along your top lash line.
  • Glamorous eyeliner: A classic 50s-style eyeliner or liner without a wing.

Add-On - $100

A lower liner can be added to any of these services. The upper and lower liners can’t be connected at the end of the eye due to twitchiness. The client has their eye open during the bottom liner application. This is why it’s an add-on only. I would suggest considering the condition of your eyelids in case they are droopy or low. I would consider doing a lash enhancement.

We Answer Frequently Asked Questions About Permanent Eyeliner

  • What is a permanent eyeliner?

I use my machine gun to implant color/pigment into your skin with a tiny needle. Permanent eyeliner isn’t going to wash off with the rest of your makeup at night, but it will gradually fade away within a couple of years depending on your skin type. For this reason, semi-permanent is probably a better description.

  • What is the process of applying permanent eyeliner?

During the process of applying tattooed eyeliner, I will clean the area with an eye-approved antibacterial, apply an ointment to the eye that will act as a barrier to protect your eye, and then apply a numbing cream to help reduce discomfort. Then micro-pigment specifically designed for use in permanent cosmetics is implanted to create an enhancement within the lash line and/or full eyeliner just above the lash line.

  • Does permanent eyeliner hurt?

Permanent eyeliner doesn’t cause as much pain as you might expect.

Once I start the tattoo process, the main thing my clients feel is a vibration. Most clients say they feel minimal discomfort but that it’s completely tolerable. There is no bleeding and usually minimal swelling/redness. Additional numbing agents are added throughout the procedure to keep the entire process more comfortable.

  • Why is aftercare important?

During the aftercare, there are some key things to avoid; you shouldn’t expose the area to water for a week, avoid dust and debris from getting into the area, and eye makeup (liner and mascara) should be avoided. If you have lash extensions, these will need to be removed and not reapplied until your eyeliner is fully healed (about 4 weeks, to be safe). It’s also very important to follow my aftercare to a T.

  • How long does permanent eyeliner last?

Permanent eyeliner can last anywhere from 1-5 years.

  • Can I get an eyeliner tattoo if I have eyelash extensions?

If you have eyelash extensions, remove them at least 3 days before your eyeliner tattoo appointment. If you remove the extensions just before the appointment, there may be glue left behind on the lash line, which could affect the outcome of the tattoo eyeliner. Once the eyeliner heals, you can get lash extensions again.

  • Can I get an eyeliner tattoo if I wear contact lenses?

If you wear contact lenses, take them out before the procedure. Be prepared not to wear them for a few days after the procedure as well. Your eyes might be a bit swollen after the treatment, so it’s better to opt for glasses during the healing period.

  • Who should avoid permanent Eyeliner?

    • Individuals with any kind of skin condition on or near the treatment area.
    • Eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, psoriasis, or any one of these skin conditions may compromise the surface and texture of the skin.
    • Any ladies with flappy eyelids.
